Wine jello

I remember my grandmother used to make a product named wine jello. It was from a package mix similar to Jell-O but by a different manufacturer (I don't remember the company). She used to buy it in Macy's Food Shop at Herald's Square. I remember there were a few flavors, like sherry, muscatel?, etc. She would put a bit of whipped cream on top and serve it with homemade tollhouse cookies (which was funny because her family managed a small road toll house in York County PA many years before). The jello was delicious, very dainty, but with a real "wine" taste. I've never seen it lately. Does anyone know if it is still made?

Having successfully made Martini Jello shots (Thanks to much help from Roadfooders), I'm, ready to try replacing the water in a plain gelatin mix with some kind of sweet wine - maybe I'll start with some leftover (if any) Sangria this evening- or maybe a late harvest Riesling. Sounds like a great idea MYNM has brought to our attention. Cheers, John
