Winters sausage company

Hi, I went to a local food distributor a couple of weeks ago and purchased a case of natural casing hot dogs. They were 8 to 1's for sure. They taste very good. Skins were a little thicker than usual. They are under the blue ribbon name, however I have learned that they are made by Winters sausage company out of Michigan. I was curious if anyone else had tried they're hot dogs. There is not a lot of info on the company out there. Does anyone know more about them?

I went searching since I never heard of them... They had a recall about 6 years ago, but found some info reading that recall.. Manufactured by Midwest Sausage Corp., under the names of Blue Ribbon, Dutch Brand Natural Casing Hot Franks and Associated Food Distributors brand beef hot dogs. If they are by Blue Ribbon using the Winters name, they're a repack of a repack then... Hamtramck, Mich.-based Midwest Sausage Corp., at (313) 875-8183. Ok, digging a little further... Winter Sausage Manufacturing, an East Point, Mich., firm. I'm guessing this is a SE Michigan, Northern Ohio product after reading the recalls. Though I did see Chicago mentioned in there...
