With or without?

I like the ice cream flavors with "things" in them: mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, fruit flavors with bits of fruit, caramel stripes, etc. A friend strongly prefers her ice cream totally smooth -- just the flavored ice cream with nothing added. What's your preference?

I don't mind the chunks, but I like the older flavors, like rocky road, peppermint bonbon, cherry nut, etc. I don't prefer the endless parade of new flavors with 12 or so mixins per flavor.
