Nope, never tried sangria.

Capt, goes good w/ a bowl of chili! And, you have a good excuse for never having ice in your wine then. I don't like ice w/ most wines.

I always thought Sangrea was a Mexican thing till I met a guy from Spain. He corrected me and said that even little kids get a glass of Sangria, W/ dinner, in Spain.

Ok, can you get a decent bowl of chili in Chile, anyone? It's hard to find one here in Texas, except for at the cookoffs.

Chili for me has no beans. If I'm trying to stretch it, then I'll add in pinto beans but never kidney beans.

Cubed beef, onion, garlic, chilis, cumin, salt, pepper, mexican oregano
masa to thicken.

I try to imagine what the cowboys, rangers, Calvery circa 1850's had with them out on the range to make their chili with. Wasn't much. Would have been pretty frugal in range of ingredients, nothing too perishable.

Need beans and beef in chili. All the rest is bonus.

beef, it isnt chili wihout beef. Don't try to serve me turkey "chili", or god forbid a vegetarian "chili".

Venison chili is fantastic.
