Working on a restaurant website builder. What features would you like to see? Fri, 10/29/10 2:54 PM (permalink)
Hi everybody.

We're working on a website builder for restaurants and thought this would be a great place for feedback.

We've got plenty of concepts for what to include such as an order-placing system, menus, mobile-optimized versions of every site, ability to register/use your own .com domain, etc. but would love to get some feedback on what owners themselves want to have.

We're open to any and all suggestions so please don't hold back!

Also, if anybody knows of similar products we'd love to take a look as we've had trouble finding much at all.

Thanks!

Here's one thing: Easily customizable and updatable menus, particularly a "Today's Specials" feature.

        Thanks for the support!
Are there features you'd like to see as a customer?

Absolutely. Ease of use is a top priority. We also have some innovative ideas around a "Today's Specials" feature.

A hood system able to accomodate serious changes in midstream.
An ability to hose down the entire kitchen with hot water after closing
perfectly ergonomics depending on the type of restaurant
A super air conditioning system, that doesn't cool the food yet removes the oppressive heat
streamlined system so servers/runners aren't colliding
security system that covers every nook and cranny, with the ability to hear what's going on, if that's legal, actually even if it's not legal, LOL!
