Would anyone go to a fast food that has both American-Asian menus?

I heard it's going to open one in Vancouver, WA. It will have both broasted chicken from Broaster and pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup) and many other items, from broasted potato wedges to spring rolls.

Well, there was a small local chain that operated in Columbus, Ohio called Presutti and Chin's. It was a double-drive-thru serving Chinese food at one window and Italian food at the other. It was such a hit that it lasted for, oh, almost a year.

Well we have a place called he Blue Plate here in Reno that serves Greek and Asian fusion food and its been here over 15 tear to rave reviews, Then 20 years ago here we had a place that served Mexican and Italian for over 10 years. I think its all about the quality and the ability of the owner to market their product. Once you break down preconceived perceptions and your guest are happy word of mouth will win the day

Doesn't matter what combinations you serve as long as it's good quailty food, made properly and priced right.

Its interesting this subject came up. I was at a restaurant just last night that served both American and Asian cuisine.( which I had never seen before) I stuck to the American fare. I just couldnt see how they could do both well, especially because my filet and side dishes were average at best.PNWCHEF said it well.

This type of place is already in existence, just in a slightly different form. Most of what used to be "Chinese" buffets around here now serve a wide variety of "American" foods (and feature prime rib and/or steak specials) along with all of their Asian offerings. In fact, one such (excellent) place locally that used to be called China Village Buffet renamed itself Grand Village Buffet, while keeping its same mix of Asian and American foods.

One thing I have noticed is that a restaurant that serves Japanese and Chinese cuisine, about 80% of the time, has the motto, "So what food would you like with your salt?" Bart
