Wow! That's pretty amazing. I hope that machine has a good refrigeration system. It looks like the meat is "vacuum sealed", which would extend its expiry date to some degree.

I don't think so. Too many other places to get good meat in our area. I could see it working in Remote areas where there are limited sources for good meat.

I think I'd want to know where the meat comes from first, but if the vending company has a good reputation I certainly wouldn't rule it out. I'm already a major supporter of the company that stocks the machines here at work...  Brad

If there was an automatic (tamper-proof) built in warning signal if the power went off, and the local HD approved I could see buying from it. In the article they said the meat was cheaper than local stores (for equivalent quality?).

I would say no, for the same reason I wouldn't order meat through a shop from home super market. I select my meat very carefully. I wouldn't want to take whatever popped out of a vending machine.

No. Even though we are on a budget, Bob and I never compromise our meat selections.We have a great local butcher, and thats where we get our meat.More expensive, but it is quality.
