Yummy BBQ in Hampton

Hampton Virginia, that is. I found this quiet by accident today. A place called Country Grill and Smokehouse 26 E Mercury Blvd Hampton, VA (757) 723-0600 I couldn't decide what to get so I had a combo platter of brisket, pulled pork and chicken. It was all excellent. The pork and beef come naked with sauces on the table for you to try: East Carolina, Lexington, Kansas City, Memphis, Texas and Savannah styles. I liked the Lexington (I assume KY not NC), the Savannah, and the Texas sauces. They had the most kick. The East Carolina (which I grew up on) was just spicy vinegar and the other two were a bit sweet for my taste. I the manager said they get people from all over the country coming in because they are very close to Langley AFB. It is a fairly new place, my waitress said it had been there since October. Hope some of you can try this place out Cathy Edit: Mistake on the name - It's County Grill and Smokehouse. There is a second location in York Co.

Cathy, that would be Lexington NC, one of the greatest BBQ cities in the country.
