a general request for location in the subject line

a humble request for a location in the subject line. If you are posting about a fast food place in southern California please put that in the subject so folks in Flordia can bypass it. Crabs in Mississsipi? BBQ in Utah? BBQ crabs in Ohio?

Just this week I threw a card away from a couple that I met in Cocoa Beach back in 2000. Maybe they will put BBA crabs on the menu... BBQ Hut, in Kettering. LOL.. I just looked it up via google, and this is what the Dayton paper had to say about it.. BARBECUE HUT 3800 Wilmington Pike, Kettering. 298-7427. Rating: 1 pig The all-purpose menu that offers everything from Bloomin' Onions to tuna-fish sandwiches raises fears that the sauce will be Montgomery Inn sweet. But it isn't at this restaurant. The translucent sauce is mild, with a vinegar bite. The ribs, not very meaty and rather dry, had the charred look and taste of precooked ribs finished on the grill. A full-slab dinner is $16.50. http://www.daytondailynews.com/search/content/restaurants/heller/0819goribsweb2.html I guess you really dont have Q Crabs in Ohio... But the owners were super nice, though!

All kidding aside, I think V960 makes a valid point. For example, QFan's recent post with a "Pierce's Pit Bar-B-Q" topic line would have been much more useful for Roadfooders if it had read "Pierce's Pit Bar-B-Q/Williamsburg VA".

Sounds like reasonable idea to me despite the unbearable wit of some responses.

Not sure why all the flaming was required but my simple request is a location in the subject line. Burgers or burritos in LA questions are not something I want to read, BBQ in NC is something I want to read. The toppings popular for a dog in Texas are meaningless to me as I visit there twice, maybe three times per year. Is it so much trouble to announce in the subject line what geographic area you are commenting upon? General comments are fine but a subject line of " Jill's Diner" is just plain stupid.
