I thought it was permanently in New Orleans.

    Hi mondaymeme,

You asked the $64,000 question.  I've been wondering about the very same thing since February
As of right now, no one has any idea about the time and location of the next bus tour although I would be extremely happy if they chose Charleston.  Hopefully we find out soon so we can all plan our trips.

    Cheers,
    Danny

I think mondaymeme is asking about the Roadfood bus tour that visits a different location every year.  You are thinking of FoodFest - America's Hometown Eats which is held in New Orleans every year.

How 'bout Phoenix in August just to dispel all the nasty rumors that it's hot out here.

The Great Shellinsky has consulted The Power to Be(cough cough think North by NorthWest cough) and the answer has come back "cloudy at this time" or something like that...

That description may be difficult to find when booking a flight on the internet...

I'm sure Wanderingjew would be interested in the Roger Maris Museum!

Google Maps shows a mix of chains and independents but nothing really jumps out.  Although Fargo does have an Amtrak station so getting there could be a treat in itself.

I hear there are armed guards along the Red River to make sure no lutefisk or hotdish (or lutefisk hotdish, for that matter) invades from Moorhead.  Conversely, Moorhead has patrols to ensure that North Dakota's stifling boredom stays out.

Y'all missed my movie reference. It was a reference to whom I consulted, not to where the bus tour would be.

Ok, I get it now. You consulted Eva Marie Saint and the tour is in Rapid City. How many people can you fit into a cropduster?

Been there! West Acres Mall, home of one of my top 10 favorite defunct restaurants (The Granary) still the best beer cheese soup I've had anywhere (and a decent bison burger too)
