Anyone know a good brunch for New Year's Day in Southwest Michigan or Northern Indiana. I was thinking of South Bend, Mishawaka and/or Elkhart in Indiana or Niles, Benton Harbor and/or St. Joseph in Michigan

hmmmm don't know of any for new years day--but i just saw an ad in the paper the other day that ponderosa is going to start serving a breakfast/brunch buffet.seems as though it's both locations in this area.. the one on 933 in south bend and the one in town and country shopping center in mishawaka..other than that- i can't help you out.. sorry. i do -- however-- know where you can get the best hot wings though-- saylors pizza right there in dowagiac.... we come there every year ( from granger--big road trip!!hahaha) for the ice festival..last year, my husband won the chicken wing eating contest that they have at saylors each year.. MAN are those babies HOT HOT HOT!!! we'll be there again this year for sure.. good luck with your new years brunch search...

they've had that chili cook off each year that we've been there.. we ate our way around downtown dowagiac with the chili -- we liked the place "la titatoria' or something like that.. they had the BEST chili and it was served with fancy spoons and bread too- THEN we went and my hubby ate the wings.. and for a prize-- he won a saylors gift certificate -- so after the chili and the wings - we ate pizza!!! we'll definitely be there again this feb.. email me and maybe we can meet or something... that way i can say i actually met someone on roadfood live and in person!!!!
