It was a Mexican Fast Food place that servered spicy hamburgers. There used to be one on Dunn Road where dirt cheap is now. What happened to Nogales anyway?

I'm guessing in Hazelwood, MO (north co. suburb of St. Louis) due to the reference to Dirt Cheap - a local chain of Cigarette & Beer stores with uber tacky commercials featuring the gravel voiced owner and a guy in a chicken suit. BTW, it was spelled Naugles - the chain was bought out many years ago by Del Taco, however not all locations were converted to Del Taco, and many were closed.

I went to the Naugles that used to be at Grand and Forest Park in St. Louis once a long, long time ago. I think it's a Del Taco now. I went to Naugles in Southern California in the early 70s, but only after a night of partying. That was the only time it was at all appealing.

I used to love a big drippy meat burrito slathered in hot sauce from Naugles after finishing a very early morning night run in the rescue ambulance back in the day.
They had something that TB or DT didn't, like maybe good taste and real cheese.
That sure hit the spot 25 years ago. Now it would send me for the Tums.

And the town and state as well since most of us have no clue where this is!!!
(Though the "guess" of a town in MO is a hint...)

Its definitely St. Louis - if you go to dirtcheapfunfun.com, they have pictures of each location, and the one on Dunn Rd. was definately an old Naugles. Dirt Cheap has several locations that were old FF joints. The one closest to me was a Hardees, another nearby was a Zantigo.
