The Salt Lick is the best in Austin, but Rudy's is great, as well as the County Line off of FM 2222. Salt Lick opened up a downtown location which is more expensive, but still serves the awesome BBQ. The original is approx 20 miles SW of town, but probably not worth the drive (long wait for dinner, not so for lunch.)
