Southside Bakery has the best burger I have found in South Louisiana besides Judice Inn. They make their own buns right there. www.southsidebakery.com

AHHH you are so right!
I do live in South LA, in Breaux Bridge, 30 minutes from JLB winter home of New Iberia. Also frequent his famous Victors cafeteria there once a month or more.
Actually named my dog Robicheaux after my favorite author, but we call him Robby for short.
Let me know if you are ever in the area, will taking you on a food tour.

Robicheaux, did you ever have a Cajun Blaze at Burger Tyme? I used to love their burgers.

There were several, one was near the north mall, one near the big mall over by where El Torito used to be.
