flipping channels during a memorial day rainstorm I chanced upon Bobby Flays grillathon.. ok the grilled shrimp pizza looked pretty good but when he grilled some flat bread, topped it with lettuce and sardines and called it a pizza........... I wont EVEN get into the concoction he called a cheesesteak!!

I gotta weigh in on this one. Maybe the cooking talent has some kind of contractual obligation to turn in recipies and a specified number of shows. Sort of like Emerl. But Bobby Flay and the nonesense....damn....

Face it, Bobby's a chef and NY restaurant owner and these guys think they are artists and have to jazz up everything they do for the show. I like the basics, and occasionally they will do something simple, but for the most part they try to create image over the basics. Fun to watch, but the tastes are beyond my simple palate.

He irritates the hell out of me, but I'm a native of SoCal, and after 10 minutes just about anyone from NYC gets old with us. Not Jersey people though, we love them.
