WE had the most delicous dogs yesterday , called CASPER dogs out of san leandro CA...long , perfectly spiced and what a crunch...best dog I have had in ages.....besides a small chain of places for take out http://www.caspershotdogs.com/ in the Bay area, I was able to purchase them for home at our local Raley Market...A- 1 in my book!

I lived in Hayward ffor several years in the 80's.... Consumed quite a few casper dogs...from what I remember, they were pretty good...I also lived in Sacramento until a couple of years ago and would see them in the Raley/Belair stores,,,I think Costco also carries them..
