Hello, I am new to this forum, and would like to know if anyone has built a step van to roast coffee in. I already have a step van, as well as the coffee roasters. I am looking for specifics as to what the best wall, ceiling and floor coverin, best insulation, and best way to mount lp tanks? I look forwards to hearing some advice, and suggestions!

The only coffee roaster I know of that is mobile is The Roasterie in Kansas City, Mo. They have a roaster on a trailer from what I understand. Maybe you could contact them and get some answers.

Red, Start with your local building inspector, as they will have the final say in your setup. Mike

The building inspector has the final say in regards to the ops question, the local building inspector will need to make the call in regards to plumbing, electrical and holding tanks which will dictate setup. The op is at the the building inspectors mercy and then the health department steps in, who just needs to be sure that the op will not kill anyone with boiled water.
