comercial wing sauce and blue cheese?? Sun, 01/30/11 9:30 PM (permalink)
Guys,

Was wondering if anybody knows of a company that sells wing sauce for buffalo wings and blue cheese dressing?? I am doing some research into this and would like to be able to offer multiple sauces.

Thanks in advance:)

As far as the wings (not my favorite but whatever) you could toss em around in butter and your favorite hot sauce. Frank's Red Hot is part of the original Buffalo wing formula so...

I personally  cannot partake in the bleu cheese festivities but...

There's several foodservice vendors of prepared wing sauce and  Frank's is one of them. I bought a gallon bottle of it last year. The blue cheese dressing is usually blue cheese salad dressing dressing like Ventura foods or House Labels.  Dipping sauces that I've made in the past is a Chipotle Ranch and a Peppercorn Parmesan/Romano. Wasn't the original just Frank's hot sauce and butter?

Yep... the original version is butter and Frank's Red Hot.

Louisiana also has a few wing sauce varieties...

I'm from buffalo originally...worked in 2 pizza joints there...Frank's is the original....Use str8 franks for hot....to make medium or mild you just cut it with some butter.....
Also after you fry the wings, you "shake" them in a metal bowl with the sauce...

Make sure you use a quality blue cheese like marie's, rooties, etc....DO NOT use Ken's YUCK......or if you are good, you could always make your own special BC...

Also make sure you serve them with carrots, and or celery....

And if someone orders x-crispy, don't give them their wins in a pile of hot sauce soup !!! This actually happened to me at the anchor bar in buffalo last time i was there...They are the originators too, go figure....
