What a weekend!, Friday there was a power outage that hit the town. Saturday me and the kids went to buy the last of the supplies, at the wally world. My debit card would not work? puzzling? went to the bank (two branches only its so small) and at the atm it said "windows 2000" gaa. Thats why the traffic lights were flashing red... went to a local pawn shop .I had promised my son we were setting up .pawned my watch bought the last of the supplies and went to the flea market. The time spent running around put us late and we lost our spot, we drove around and the only other pole with electric was over by some poles were a mexican truck had been the week previous. Well the truck drove up five mins after we got set up. So we were right next to one of the only other concessions at the market.Well we made our rent back the first day, We got a better spot the second day increased our prices a little and made A bit more. I must say though we learned what worked as far as cheese and nachos, we sold hot dogs cotton candy snow cones and drinks. We need a bigger sign though and something that doesnt need words. I really love my cotton candy machine, its a gold medal, double head super whirl wind , the biggest they make, it can make 6 cones a minute, I think if I only did one concession it would be cotton candy, I keep it setup in the dining area my wife always lights up like a little kid whenever I bring her a cone...

Well I had a problem with the lights in the trailer , but when I removed the covers I did not see anything?! odd. Plugged it back up and it all worked! Installed a plug-in receptacle at the front , got a huge no.10 cord from the scrapyard and made up an extension lead about 75 foot. The no.10 is good for 35amps per leg with the boiler taking about 12A and the hot water heater taking about 14A The cotton candy machine takes about 20A at startup so you have to watch the draw. The freezer is probably about 3A and the lights too. I got the generator out 4000 watts it needs a better muffler as it is loud!! Reconfigured the trailer for the town square tomorrow hot dogs and drinks, also got a old car rally next w.end plus we are on for a county fair in a couple of weeks! lots going on.
