flo jet water pump problem

Anyone else here have a flojet?

The one i have looks a heck of  a lot like the one pictured here:

Notice the black rectangular piece in the front there?

under neath that is another plastic piece with with two round sides that house the screws that hold both pieces onto the punp, it also hasthe two electrical connections  that operate the pump.  The left side of this piece broke on mine.  I don't know what to call this piece.  I don't know if/where i can find a replacement.

I am going to look at the local marine supply and hardware stores, but my hunch is that they won't know what i need or have what i need.

any help here is welcome.

I believe that is a check valve. You can Google Flo Jet diagram and check the diagram for the part number , I dont know if its available in a store , but you might get lucky , it should be available online. How the hell did you break that ?

I can get away without it in the winter, but come spring i am going to need them functioning.

The pictured piece is the pressure switch.    Cross check your model number & part number, but this should be the part.

I had one of these go out early this winter and just ordered a new pump. I got it through Amazon prime and had it on Monday after ordering it Friday. It was cheaper and faster than waiting for a part. Even living in an area that makes RV's by the 1000s no one had the part in stock.
I actually ordered two pumps so that I have an extra to swap out if necessary. I can't afford to be down waiting for a $45 part to replace.
Hope you got it all taken care of.
