Hahaha, nice. One low budget sushi I can tell you to steer clear from is the boxed plastic wrapped junk from a grocery store. Never touched by human hands, it is entirely factory processed, frozen, and thawed for the cooler shelves. The rice is even a select type for the freeze/thaw cycle. Never found a pack that was even worth it's low price.

There's a Sushi-a-Go-Go here in Milwaukee; I wonder if they're related. It seem that some supermarket is made fresh, but maybe I'm just deluded? Wegmans has in-store sushi chefs who assemble on-site in public view, and I'm pretty sure Whole Foods does, too. Or perhaps they're just assembling doctored-up, previously frozen ingredients?

I hit this place when I'm on Long Island. IMO, very good quality. Lunch is around 14 bucks. http://www.minado.com/
