forum posts format

Is there a way to flip the sequence of posts so newest appear 1st
instead of last? all other parts seem to follow the newest first
format except when we go to the actual topics. It is frustrating to scroll through
preceding parts of the discssion to get to the most recent post.
In addition, the most recently replied to subjects seem to guarantee that once a topic hits 2nd or 3rd page purgatory,
there is little likelyhood of it being replied to. Is there a way to make all topics of a particular
forum visible on 1 page?
And as long as I'm making a wish list, is there a way to make the most recent post icon go to the most recent post rather than the poster's profile?

All that said, I'm enjoying the new format so much. It's nice to know there are so many others obsessed with good food and it's relationship to our culture out there.
thanks for providing us with this outlet. bill in oregon

Click on the arrow to the right of the persons name to get the recent post.
