fried shrimp on Tybee Island?

I'm preparing for my trip to North Carolina, South Carolina and Savannah next week (leaving on Thursday). I was planning to have (maybe only) one non-barbecue lunch and was hoping for some great fried shrimp on Tybee Island, since I want to drive out there anyway. I have friends who ate at AJ's Dockside and was planning on that, but I keep seeing a few others that are getting my attention, including Gerald's Pig and Shrimp and Stingray's.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been to Tybee three times and I think the best restaurant by far is the Sundae Cafe. We've only been there for dinner but I'm sure lunch is great too.

Sting Rays fried shrimp is the best! Gerald's does a decent job too. I love Sundae Cafe, but I've never seen fried shrimp on their menu. They have grouper on Fridays which is pretty good,

That's where I went. It was great, one of the highlights of my trip.

    Great view

    Very nice Caesar salad.

Wonderful fried shrimp, fries and cole slaw.
