going on vacation!

Our plans have totally changed. we were going to go up to burlington, wi but have now decided to go to Colorado Springs! We first went to Colorado in 2000 pre-children and stayed in Estes Park. we're going to go the long route through Del Rio, Alpine, Van Horn, El Paso, up through New Mexico and then to Colorado. I'm very excited so I will let you all now what interesting food finds we visit! I'm so happy!!! We haven't had a vacation since 2002! I hope to find the Internet somewhere along to way and let you all know how are trip is coming along. Unfortunately we don't have a digital camera so you'll have to visualize! Oh, and we're leaving early Sunday morning! Can't wait to tell you about our trip. So long gotta pack, etc.

You know something...This is like watching a grandkid get excited about Christmas or a Birthday! I love to Roadtrip, and finding folks who really like travel and trips and stuff like this is a real kick !

hey guys. we're visiting my relatives in Dallas right now. I don't have a laptop so have not been able to keep anyone updated. We went through West Texas, up through Roswell, NM. Camped out one night at the Sugarite State Park in Raton, NM then made our way up to Colorado Springs. We took the cog rail up to Pike's Peak. Stayed there 3 days till Wednesday. Left Co. and went through the texas panhandle and stayed the night in Dumas, Tx because we were so tired. we left thursday and eventually made our way to Dallas via wichita falls.
