Does anybody have any suggestions for places to eat in Hamilton, Ontario, site of the 2003 World Cycling Championships? The Italian neighborhoods should be going nuts when the races are passing through, so these might be a good place to start. Thanks. By the way, I'll be looking into visiting wineries that specialize in ice wine. Any favorites out there?

If you do go to Niagara-on-the-Lake and want a really nice meal (i.e., expensive, but very good), I recommend the Pillar and Post. To me, it's the best restaurant I've been to in that neck of the woods for many years.

Also while in th LCBO, get their Magazine "Food and Drink" (freebie) Very Nice presentation, and well written food / drink articles. Most of those Wineries between the Falls and Niagara on the Lake have 1/2 bottles of VERY SWEET Dessert, Ice Wine, $25 - $30 Cdn I've been to Innsikillin Winery, But you'll find several local wineries selling their own lables
