"happy cooker" port reading

Did anyone ever try or remember hot dogs from "The Happy Cooker "? She had a trailer parked off port reading avenue near the tanks and dorsi's bakery on Woodbridge avenue I believe. She was there for many years but not in the past few. Not sure if she retired or relocated but her dogs were always worth detouring for. Anyone know what happened? Thanks

Yeah, I doubt if even 10% of the people from NJ know where Port Reading is, let alone the general population of Roadfood. But it does have it's Roadfood places. He does mention D'Orsi's bakery which is a pretty good old school Italian bakery, down a dead end street in an Industrial section. And Port Reading is also the home of an old dump of a bar called the Corner Bar, locally known for it's unique pizza called The BLT pie (which is exactly what it is) , an acquired taste which I was unable to acquire. First and only time I've ever had mayonaisse as part of a pizza topping. That all being said, sorry but I don't know what ever happened to The Happy Cooker.

We had a vendor named Shelly from the Woodbridge area a few years ago...but I think she went by Shelly's Dogs. I never heard of Port Reading...and I am just on the other side of Staten Island.
