hatfield hot dogs

hello again I am still reading and getting ready for both the fundraiser and looking at opening a cart in the near future. I have a meat company called hatfield that is near me (about 30 miles) has anyone used their products? I have emailed the company to get prices, a local resturante food supplier gave me a price of 10lb bag 80 count all beef dogs for 2.59 a pound comes out to about .32cents a dog. From what i am reading that seems to be a decent price but I was wondering on the quaility. Of course I will try it first but just thought someone here might have had a chance to use them thanks frank

A hot dog guy in my town uses them and i like them. I was thinking of using them when i started but i did alot of taste testing and Sabrett always won. so Sabrett it is. But i actually like the taste. As far as pricing, sorry i don't know what they run.

I don't know the product, but the price is ok if you are talking a good natural casing dog mixed (pork and beef dog) including delivery or very local pick-up.

Yeah I agree so (thus far) that Sabretts is the best dogs, even over Nathan's. However WARNING "EVERYTHING is subject to change" LOL Show me a dog, I'll show u two. LOL Figuratively. I would like to try these so-called angus beef dogs. I think Sysco said they could order them About .70 a dog though.

I use sysco all beef 5-1 block and barrell and am completely happy with them. Great shelf life, nice snap without being too course like some can be, good beefy taste with just the slightest (tiny) hint of garlic in there. Of course, I grill them and havent tried steaming or boiling.

You can actually just go to a local sam's club and pick up nathans or sab. dogs for less then that. Buns will also cost you about .12 per bun so it's alot better that way in my opinion.

Hatfield Angus 8-1 natural casings are some of the best dogs around and are the way to go. Additionally, you will have a product few others are serving... I get them at Restaurant Depot.

Willy How much is your sysco minimum in your area? Mine is supposed to be 500 minimum but anything over 350 they will deliver to me. But then again my sales rep is a great guy.
