hot dog stuffed crust pizza

I didn't know if I should post this under fast food, hot dogs or pizza so miscellaneous is the obvious choice. This pizza is brought to you by Pizza Hut UK

I think it said it had mustard in the crust too. Those whacky brits!

Are they trying to capture the hot dog eaters?
 
This is not a combination that I would even consider eating.

I would pass on hot dog stuffed since I am not a hot dog lover, but link sausage (or the equivalent) in a stuffed-crust pizza just might be the ticket.  How about a brat stuffed crust or a chorizo stuffed crust?  Those might be interesting.

I'd just eat the dog and crust and throw the sauced inner pie away!!
They just stole Pillsbury's idea and put it in a pizza.
Crescent Dogs

 
Crescent rolls update the popular "pig-in-blanket" concept, along with a yummy surprise: melted cheese in each frank.
INGREDIENTS:
8 hot dogs
4 slices (3/4 oz each) American cheese, each cut into 6 strips
1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 375°F. Slit hot dogs to within 1/2 inch of ends; insert 3 strips of cheese into each slit.
Separate dough into triangles. Wrap dough triangle around each hot dog. Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cheese side up.
Bake at 375°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Foodbeme try that recipe with the Pillsbury breadsticks instead and you get a less greasy dish. I use the breadsticks and mini andoullie sausage to make cocktails weenies all the time.
