ice cream soda

Growing up my favorite treat was to go to the corner drugstore and have a chocolate soda, made with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and soda water. I live in Georgia and am forever searching to find a place that serves ice cream sodas. Does anyone know of any place in Georgia that serves them?

I'm sorry, I don't, but one of my favorite childhood memories is my grandfather taking me out for strawberry ice cream sodas. Thanks for bringing that to mind!

No but I do remember those "black and whites" - we had them in Brooklyn.

A "black and white" was always my favorite ice cream soda when I was a kid growing up in New Jersey. Used to get them at the lunch counter at the Grants store in Somerville. I wonder if the Brusters Ice Cream stands here in Georgia might make them.
