it's Octoberfest

I already have it marked on my calendar. a little town (good German town) not too far from me sells the best home made sausage in West Texas. It is wonderful! sausage wraps, hot german potato salad, sauerkraut, cold beer all in my future come the 16th. you have to get there early cause they sell out fast. folks even come in from New Mexico.

oh wow, I was just checking out their menu. sounds like a great place to start Oktoberfest. we don't have anything like that up here. I'm jealous.

I've never heard of an Oktoberfest taking place after September.
