krystals The best restaurant in the world!

I am from Lubbock Texas and I happened across an article in my local newspaper that mentioned a lubbock native was being enducted into the krystal hall of fame for his story on the internet. I am originally from florida,tenn and ga and everytime i come back home that is the first thing i do when i get off the plane or drive in to town.you will never have the same expierence until you try one. you can usually eat about 12 of them at one time. so stop if you see one and try them out. you'll never forget it.

I've never forgotten how Krystals made me sick. White Castles, on the other hand ...

I used to think that Krystals was the same company as WHITE CASTLE www.thecrave.com and while theyre similar, White Castles OWNZ Krystals.

I feel for your Mother...that must have been an interesting birth. Three states? Wonderful!

I like both Krystal and White Castle. Maybe it has something to do with me growing up near Lexington, KY, one of the few markets both restaurants occupy.

I kinda doubt they have changed much since I was in my 20's. We called em gut grenades then. The only good thing about Krystal's back then was they were open at 3 am. After a night out, being too drunk to care, we'd order 10. My sober friend finally put a stop to it and took us to Waffle House instead.

My reaction on reading that "Krystals is the best restaurant in the world" is reminiscent of my reaction to reading the quote a couple of years ago from Harriet Miers, e.g.--"George Bush is the most intelligent man I ever met". I think that both of you have had very limited experiences.

Ate lunch there yesterday, three burgers with extra onions and an order of fries. Burgers were good and the fries were hot, more than I can say for some other places.

While I'm a White Castle fiend, I like Krystal's too. They're great for when you've got a ton of stuff to do and not a lot of time to eat. Hit the drive through, get a few (I really like the Krystal Chik sandwiches), then hit the road.

Most, if not all of the locations around me have closed in the past few months. They're turning into Dunkin Donuts in most cases.

Still wish White Castle would come further south. The closest one to me in TN.
