I went through 3 ION batteries today cutting a 4" hole in my grease hood to exhaust my fumes. Talk about SUCK, I didn't even make it through the wall of the truck. LOL have to charge my batteries and come back tomorrow. YEEESH

Yup but tomorrow the truck is aluminum and that will be a cake walk compared to the stainless steel. And if you want a smooth cut on your truck body get the finest tooth blade you can find or at least a brand new blade.

Went through several drill bits, even drilling slow with proper bits.

all batteries are charged now, and I'll be up there from 4-6 cutting the rest and putting on the shutter fan and the inside fan. I'm almost done with this thing and have to take a zillion pictures of stuff. Can't wait to turn on the stove and test cook for the first time.

What gauge ss are you trying to cut through? I am a Sheet Metal Worker by trade and a very good steel fabricator, Have you tried a good pair of hand shears, you would be surprised at how well they cut. At work I would use a plasma cutter or a Greenlee knock out punch, or a sawzall with a jig saw blade for a tight radius. Are you willing to drive to Louisville Ky?

The hole got cut, I decided to use a power cord drill instead. My Ridgid was getting too hot to hold. LOL I'm about to post some pics.
