lums

After eating at lums in miami and Indianapolis for many years , I have given thought to opening a lums but have no idea how to get recipies ect any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated

I dont think lums exists anymore or I would have tried that

the fact that they are no longer open ndoesnt mean that someone doesnt own the rights to it---it name and its recipes may be the propety of some corporation or another. I'd still try to research it--on the web first-google everything you can think of that may relate to Lums. Good luck.

Thx for your help unfortunately I have already googled lums on the web and have no idea who owns them...I guess I am sol!!!

thx for info on lums in davie fla...I called them tonite the owner is one of original franc who bought company from corp...he has been running rest for last 24 years...the have olieburgers and chicken ect hotdogs steamed in beer like they used to...unfortunately they dont use the same soft cheese and chili that lums used to put on their hotdogs they buy the chili and cheese and hotdogs from sisyco...the manager said they buy olie sauce from a distributer premade they add water...I will b speaking to them again...I wish I knew what hotdogs lum's used to use and could get the receipe for the chili and cheese sauce...thanks again for your help...charlie
