 lunch in Hartford

We are driving from the Hudson Valley to Hartford , via NY Sate Rt 44 sometime next week and would like to find a good lunch near Hartford or downtown convenient to the Wadsworth Athenaeum. any sugestions would be appreciated - we like all kinds of food.

    If you want a y cheap but homemade soup/sandwich lunch, I recommend[url='http://www.roadfood.com/Reviews/Overview.aspx?RefID=1476']Mo's Midtown[/url]. For something finer, you cannot beat Carbone's on the South End. (Not reviewed here yet) It's the classic old New England Italian restaurant, in the same family since the 1930s. Kinda fancy, but not snooty. Lots of Hartford movers and shakers and politicians eat, wheel, and deal in the bar there. Here's a picture I took in Carbone's pizza oven a while ago:
