Is there a lunch spot not too far off the route to Maggie Valley that you think is GREAT!! Thanks and looking forward to the feedback. Cherie

I have a great stop for you. You did not indicate your route of choice but I assume that you will be traveling via I-40 east to Maggie Valley. Directly off the Strawplains exit which is about 10 miles east of Knoxville is a restaurant that was voted #1 restaurant period in Knoxville. Puleo's is on the southeast part of the interchange of the Straw Plains exit. It is super, very clean an very reasonable for a lunch.
