RE: Looking for tallow for fry making
The Sundancer bought a beef roast that was top round and did not contain enough fat. I went to Food City which I believe is the only place in Knoxville that still cuts meat. I ask them for some beef fat and they gave it to me for free. I put it in the pan while I was roasting the beef and I got some nice beef gravy. Strange that I normally get this for free to feed the birds.
