Sterns Restaurant
-
Sun, 02/26/06 12:45 PM
When I was a kid - we ate a wonderful restaurant called Sterns or maybe Stearns. Does anyone know if it still exists? On each plate there was 1/2 an apple that had been curred in some type of red coloring - cinnamon apple something? - It was yummy! Their BBQ was the best.

Oh - yeah! That would help. I think we were in Culver City, California.

Have you been to Sterns? I did some research this morning. We have some major streets with this name and I learn about land grants and such and where this name originated.

I found this postcard with my Dad's collections. We loved this place. We lived way over in Covina, but he would make the drive 3 or 4 times a year to bring home Stearn's BBQ.
