Might want to move the home page to the about us link (which shows nothing right now) and put a few pics of your food on the home page.

Something about seeing good food makes people want to try it.

Nice menu.

Just my 2 cents.

Nice site, clear, easy to read, Pics would be nice, I do like the way you include the map with Hwy 101 instead of being sent to mapquest or others that don't always come up.
I'll have the Italian Omelet please.

Kay

Note, Damon after looking at your site again I realized you used mapquest which I and I don't think Fieldthistle noticed.
It just comes across so much cleaner doing it your way.
If you have ever had maps not come up or bounce around not in focus you know what I mean. Good job, just add some pics.

I agree with NebGuy, although I didn't put any pics of my food on my Home page. I'd also add that the narative should be in paragraph form. Much easier to read.

Hello All,
Damon2, (your name scares me, haha), your home page is...doesn't really show me much. A picture of the place or food
would help along with the words.
I like the colours you use, and LOVE your menu. Clear and precise and prices. I almost think you show have pictures
of food, but not on the menu pages. I really like the menu pages because it's clear and you're not pushing a type of
food. Some establishments need pics because they are showing a speciality.
I agree with Kayleigh about the map. I hate mapquest.
The homepage needs a rethinking. Like Nebguy, pics of food would be good, or check out Slick's site, where he has gallery's
of pics showing his great food.
I know I have been foolishly repetitively and unclear about pics. Sorry, 3 too many beers and I've been up for 34 hours.
But you have a sweet, clean, look. Good Start.
Take Care,
Fieldthistle
P.S. Kayleigh is probably right about the mapquest. What I dislike
is being pushed to another site to view a map of a location, which happens at many webpages.
Thanks Kayleigh for pointing it out and also for covering my butt.
You are my friend.

Not trying to be picky here, but on the lunch menu it should read potato salad.

I also noticed on your Philly cheese and French Dip you refer to them as USDA Choice beef but on the Hearty Rancher it is referred to as USDA flame broiled steak (w/o the word Choice). I don't know if this was done on purpose or got left out.

Speciality Burgers
A quarter pound of freshly ground beef served with fries, fruit, slaw or potatoe salad

You have root beer floats! I think I'll have the Belt Buster Breakfast, with a Root Beer Float, please.

On the main screen, "a wide range of omelet’s...," you may want to remove the apostrophe, or you may lose the English teacher crowd.

You have the text centered and some sentences are only one or two words in the center of the page.

"A local tradition since 1978, family owned and operated for over 25 years. Just come inside and find again that lost small town feel, where if you visit more then once, you'll get the feeling that "everyone knows your name", or at least your face."

I think this form is easier to read than the way you have it.

I agree with Slick's comments, and would add that some of the spelling and punctuation need a bit of work. For instance, unless the restaurant is named for more than one "Mother Hubbard", the title should be expressed as Mother Hubbard's Restaurant. I realize that the url (web address) can't contain an apostrophe, but the name of the restaurant definitely calls for one.

I like your menu choices, and if I was in the area, I would surely give your place a try...after the name is fixed!

Must be my monitor or browser...when I view the page I don't have any lines that are only 1 or 2 words long...but if you are seeing it that way, I'll get it changed..and thanks to eveyone so far...

Why not use the whole page for business hours instead of down the middle wasting space. You could go two down instead of eight and fill the page left to right. Otherwise there is alot of needless scrolling to get to that nice map.

Also don't most places now leave off the $ sign before prices.
I think they kinda make it look "busy"

Since on all the other menus you have all the items with the price following, all in bold, why don't you do the same on the lunch menu with:

Fresh Homemade Soup.....cup $3.00, bowl $4.00
Today's soup, always fresh, always homemade

and:

Homemade Chili.....cup $4.25, bowl $5.25
Made with our own freshly ground beef, etc. etc. etc.

and the price in bold following the Medley of Fresh Steamed Veggies
