Just out of curiousity how many have made a HACCP study for their business?

When I changed insurance companies there was a provision for a 5-10% discount, similar to drug free workplace, for a HACCP compliant
environment. The program was around $200 and the savings was close to $900 for the year. It seems also to be one of those things if or when an issue comes up and you are in fact compliant and have shown effort, then maybe, you will not be made out to be such a bad person. Not unlike the alcohol awareness programs.

back a few years, in my corp days, haccp was a big thing. it is especially important for large stores with tons of potential problems. but now, with just ma and pa, i aint doing it....heehe

I did until I changed suppliers and my food changed to key drop. I'm not getting there at 5:30 AM in order to check temps. I'm having to trust the driver that they are in range. He leaves me paper work every delivery that lists the temps of the refigeration and freezer portions of his trailer.
