They forgot my absolute favorite on that poll:

Native American fried bread for Navajo tacos! I love them either simply fried plain, with cheese, cinnamon and sugar or all the way with chili and taco fixings! yum!

I believe that Native American Fry bread is almost synonymous with Utah Scones

Dee-lish! I had heard a number of Jamaicans talking about something called festival which isn't all that common but is well liked. When I finally had some, it was Native American fry bread but in a slightly different shape. Their's was strictly for dinner and not covered with sugar. It too is dee-lish.

Did you see the movie Smoke Signals, a great Native American film? I got my daughter a cool t-shirt from the movie that says: "Fry Bread Power!"

Fry bread is a very basic dough flattened and deep fried. Don't have the recipe handy, but it's available on-line.
Ya kinda get tired of Indian tacos after about the third pow-wow of the year. I've got a buddy who used to run a fry bread stand and he hates the things.

I take pizza dough that has risen and cut it up in small pieces and deep ry it and shake powered sugar over it and my little kids freak out over it.My Father used to make it for me and my Sister.Kind of like a Benign.

Somehow that didn't come out right. Google Institute of American Indian Arts. Nice website.
