What's your problem?
Hub and Waybrights. . . didn't last long did they?
Quarrier Diner. . . the best grilled sandwiches until it closed down a few years ago. The old man got sick and his daughter gave it up soon after. Now only the Tap Room is open in the basement. I'm sure you're familiar with that establishment.
The Anchor. . . there was the original and the Anchor II, both run by dear friends who have since passed (draft beer and some of the first homemade pizza in Charleston) and now there is the cheap bar and grill with sub par food called "The Anchor" in honor of the original, but does not do it justice.
Southern Kitchen. . . hasn't changed in 40 yrs. Still run by the same grand old lady.
Ginos. . . yuck, really bad. Always was, always will be. Their sister operation "Tudors Bisquits" floats it. but they were the first to deliver all the way back in the 60s.
Joe Fazio's. . . overpriced junk Italian. It used to be REALLY bad in the late 60s, 70s, 80sand 90s. It has actually gotten a little better in the past few years.
Stewards was nothing like any of those places.
My problem? Can't think of any.
