I'd be interested in hearing from those of you out there who are/were street food vendors. Is setting up a corporation or LLP essential to the business? Can I just do it as an individual, or am I a$king for trouble? What about insurance? Would some of you out there with experience, perspective and wisdom be willing to share a little of it with me? Thanks in advance. diezbi

As for insurance, I thought that liability was pretty well mandatory in every state???

Any time you are dealing with food you are wide open for liability. Whether real or imagined, you will always be the one blamed for any illness someone decides to pin on you. PROTECT YOURSELF as much as possible.
