Can anyone summarize this?
I am in the market to buy a GPS and if anyone has one, likes it and is getting the RF data to work, I'd follow in their footsteps.
I have a Garmin Nuvi 660 (which I like a lot) and find the RF data, which I downloaded recently, works pretty well. On my unit, the name of the restaurant is truncated but there's enough of it so that I can get the idea. And the coordinates are close enough.
All I get for information is the name of the restaurant. It would be helpful to have some data as to the specialty or must-eats, since otherwise you need to carry around the offline guide (which, to be fair, isn't that big a deal).
All in all, a very great service!
