The best pizza in the world to me was a pizza parlor in NYC in Flushing Queens called Gloria's Pizza Parlor. They made the best pizza.

Main Street, Flushing. That whole area is now heavily Korean. Very few of the businesses that were there 30 years ago are still there. Most of the large retailers in that area are gone; the Gertz department store is now a Macy's, a direct corporate successor.

Lots of people have fond memories of Gloria's and there are references on the web that relatives of the owners of Gloria's still run pizza joints in the area. Just google Gloria's Pizza Flushing.

It sure is funny how a favorite roadfood place springs to mind decades after it closed.

Imo Margherita Pizza on jamaica Avenue makes DELICIOUS pizza, And they serve slices by the pie, so theres no heating up 4 hour old slices, you get a fresh slice every time

thats nice about Main st. in Flushing. Ihope everybody protested those rallys today.

To the owner of Pasquale's in Humboldt, IA -

I'm hoping you're still checking this site. I'd love to find out how to find your frozen mini pizzas in the Spencer area. WalMart no longer has them.
