I'm not certain, but I just always thought they were made from plywood.

I have a box of popcicle sticks in the craft room I will go see if they say what kind of wood.....


I just checked the box and it listed no specific wood.

It would almost have to be a hard wood, for a soft wood would impart a nasty taste.

I buy 'em by the bag at the craft store or the grocery. I have a set of popsicle molds we use for a variety of frozen treats.
