I hardly ever post to this forum because, well, I hardly ever go out for breakfast. But last week I had a day off and my wife, sister in law, and myself took an early morning drive to the NJ Shore. We ate at a really interesting funky (in a good way) early 60's roadhouse type place right on a lake in Asbury Park called Sunset Landing. I had cut the attached article out of the NY Times 5 years ago and just got around to getting there.
It was a delightful day to sit on their deck by the lake, enjoying terrific omelets and french toast and pancakes (we all shared everything). Just thought I'd recommend it, it's not part of the usual Jersey Shore buzz at all. (A lot of the "buzz" places are over priced and mediocre, IMHO). --Ken
