Has anyone heard of or been to a restaurant in Canton, MD called'Mama's On The Half Shell'? It was mentioned on another site, but I can't find a website or any info! Is it worth a visit? Thanks in advance!

I was there on Friday night, probably the best meal I've had in Baltimore (I am not a local). Food was great, place was fun and the staff was helpful and friendly. It is in a section of town where I'd look for an apartment if I was 22 and single. We were looking to take another couple out for dinner. We've been to G&M and liked the food but felt uncomfortable entertaining there. I turned to chowhound and this was one of the places recommended. We'd definitely go back. It seems they don't have a web site of their own. I think they may be affiliated with the place next door 'Nacho Mama's'. http://www.nachomamascanton.com/ http://www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/dining/63335,0,5579691.venue

We have eaten there quite a few times and it is terrific. However, they do not take reservations so that if you go on a weekend, you will probably have a long wait. This is one of my favorite places for moderately prioed seafood.
