I'm looking for a tried-and-true recipe for this flavor that is not red in color — in other words, it looks like vanilla with dark black cherries mixed in. Thanks!

Seems easy enough; make your favorite vanilla recipe and add fresh, pitted cherries near the end of the churning. Yes?

I don't have a recipe, but I can tell you the best flavors I know of come from LorAnn Oils. They have a website, I'm sure they have this flavor.

Just make regular vanilla but layer it with Bing Black Cherry halves no?
