yo, i love real dark strong coffee ice cream, not the really creamy milky stuff like haagan daaz. what supermarket brands have u had that are like this and are good? trader joes has a good one, i think it's made by "Double Rainbow". any others? thanks

I wonder about using coffee syrup and/or cooled espresso over vanilaa ice cream...

starbucks is too milky though. i mean real coffee ice cream like you'd find in france.

Ciao Bella makes an espresso gelato that is very dark & delicious. They carry the brand at WHole Foods and maybe other places (they are from NJ).

The Brown Cow Ice Cream Parlor in Forest Park, IL. Great Coffee Ice Cream. I've had the one from Double Rainbow - very good. This is prett similar. Rich, Creamy, Cappuccino flavor. www.browncowicecream.com
