Stash tea is very good, especially for such a relatively young American tea company. I am not fond of Stash Earl Grey though. They go way overboard with the bergamot flavoring.
PG Tips is very good tea for everyday use, I like it and buy it. Lately, my everyday tea has been Red Rose English Breakfast and Red Rose Earl Grey. I find these Red Rose products about equal to the Twinings products and at much lower cost. Even the traditional Red Rose Orange Pekoe is very good and an excellent value.
Ah, nothing like a large mug of tea and a full English breakfast!
We have similar taste, though Twinings comes off a bit weak compared to PG tips, IMHO. A less expensive alternative to "Britains #1 Tea" (PGTs) is Red Rose from Canada. I've not seen any other RR variety than Orange Pekoe, but it has a great flavor and color--lighter, redder, and slightly "thinner" than PGTs brew.
Stash EG tea is a bit strong (bergamot-wise) for breakfast, but can be nice at tea time.
